Increase in Ukrainian IT Services Exports in July 2024

In July 2024, Ukraine’s export of IT services saw a 6% increase compared to the previous month, reaching $545 million, according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU)

This marks a slight recovery from June's figures, which stood at $512 million. However, despite this growth, the export value is still 2.5% lower than in July 2023.

Year-to-Date Performance

Over the first seven months of 2024, Ukraine's IT service exports totaled $3.75 billion. This represents a 5% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, when the export figure was $3.94 billion.

Previous Trends

In June 2024, the export of IT services from Ukraine had experienced an 11% drop compared to June 2023, amounting to $512 million. The recent increase in July suggests a potential stabilization or recovery in the sector, although it remains below last year's levels.

This trend reflects the ongoing challenges and opportunities within Ukraine's IT industry amid global and local economic conditions.
