At the Transport logistic site in Munich, the Ukrainian company Ukrzaliznytsia and the German concern Global asset and logistics company (VTG GmbH) signed a memorandum of cooperation. Under this agreement, Ukrzaliznytsia and VTG will increase freight and passenger traffic between Germany and Ukraine. The memorandum will also positively impact the prices of services and credibility and help Ukrainian companies integrate into the European logistics business.
Also, Ukrzaliznytsia representatives talked with colleagues from the French engineering company Alstom. The Ukrainian company is interested in introducing Alstom technologies into its trains and electric trains.
It also became possible to increase trade between the railways of Ukraine and European countries through the use of technologies for the automatic expansion of wheels from 1435 mm gauge to 1520 mm. The Spanish company Tria will be able to introduce this development into Ukrzaliznytsia carriage bogies.
The foundations for cooperation have also been laid with PKP Cargo, EP Logistics and the Slovak railways.
