In March, interceptor drones destroyed more than 33,000 Russian UAVs, which is about twice as many as in the previous month. The data were highlighted as a key indicator of the growing role of air-defense drones in protecting critical infrastructure and frontline areas.
The report underlines that interceptor drones have become one of the most scalable tools for countering mass UAV attacks. Their effectiveness is linked to rapid reaction cycles, flexible deployment and the ability to engage targets at short notice.
The increase in confirmed interceptions also signals that units have improved coordination and adapted tactics to larger waves of incoming drones. As a result, the interceptor layer is now a central element in Ukraine’s air-defense architecture.
