In Ukraine, testing of the electronic format of waybills has begun. From August 1, 2023, the entire logistics system of Ukraine will abandon paper documents and switch to electronic document management. This reform closes several important tasks: stopping intermediate schemes and corruption risks, increasing business transparency, and refusing to use paper. In addition, the digitalization of TTN is the first step towards integration with European CMRs.
Today, 19 certified companies have already begun to provide services for the transition to digital document management. Business owners in Ukraine are advised to contact specialists and implement eTTN, which will become mandatory in half a year.
According to the deputy head of the Ministry of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem, this mechanism is part of the overall strategy to reform the field of road transport in Ukraine.
