On August 1, a bilateral meeting was held between Ukraine and Germany on restoring our country's infrastructure. The war and destruction erected new challenges to the leadership of Ukraine, and members of the ruling party of the German parliament, Karolin Otte and Deborah Dühring, testified to their country's intentions to help Ukraine. As Ukrainian MP Olena Shulyak reported, the terms of the partnership between several Ukrainian and German cities were agreed upon. This cooperation will become a platform for increased participation of German business and technology in collecting and processing construction debris: debris from buildings, structures, asphalt, etc., which remained after the Russian bombings. This construction waste will be recycled and reused to construct new facilities.
As Shulyak emphasised, Ukraine can count on investment in this industry.
