In the spring Forbes rating has already marked Ukrainians. In addition to the developers and their startups, which entered the top list, the prestigious financial and economic publication focused on other entrepreneurs, startups. The magazine noted the sustainability and creativity of some Ukrainian companies that cannot enter the Forbes rating for various reasons. Among such sites were Rozetka and MakeUP traders. Holding companies, companies in the sphere of outsourcing, outstaffs, business-oriented to the domestic market cannot compete with those already in the rating.
Among the top five leaders of Ukraine are such startups as:
- Gitlab web tool;
- An artificial intelligence-based Grammarly web service for writing English-language texts;
- Ajax wireless security system;
- People.ai performance assessment tool;
- Restream multi-threaded service for transferring content to multiple platforms;
- MacPaw software for cleaning computers.
These projects show how advanced the IT industry is in Ukraine. Moreover, some of the projects that came to Forbes this year have been in existence for almost 20 years. All of them have already gained interest and attracted investment. The lowest investment in one of the top 5 members is $11 million. The largest investment is $434 million. The estimate of the startups themselves begins at $1-2.5 billion.
According to Forbes, the list of Ukrainian startups in 2021 can consist of 30 companies. Among them: the carrier company Uklon, the application of augmented reality Augmented Pixels, online training Preply, tools for tracking the cryptocurrency Kuna and Unstoppable Domains, etc.
