The shopping and entertainment centre Ocean Plaza in Kyiv is blocked. According to the prosecutor general of Ukraine, Andrii Kostin, the corporate rights of companies registered in Ocean Plaza have been transferred to the National agency for the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes. The total amount of seized rights is more than 350 million hryvnias (at the NBU exchange rate of 36.56 for 1 dollar).
We remind you that the shopping centre owners are Russian citizens from Putin's close circle. As reported by the general prosecutor's office of Ukraine, the profits from the work of Ocean Plaza were shown to Russia and used to finance the war: the production of weapons in Russia and the financing of the Russian army.
Nevertheless, on August 11, Ocean Plaza resumes work.
