Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida held a business meeting. As a result of the talks, the parties decided to hold a Ukrainian-Japanese conference. It will be devoted to rebuilding the country after the attacks of the Russian Federation and support Ukraine in real-time. It is planned to attract private assets to restore Ukraine. Japan is interested in investing in the production of hydrogen, lithium batteries, automobiles, and power equipment. Also, Fumio Kishida announced the readiness to invest in the construction of infrastructure (overpass, railway).
In addition, the president of Ukraine and the prime minister of Japan discussed military assistance. During the conversation, areas were identified in which the Japanese government could help strengthen the Ukrainian army. Thus, Tokyo stands ready to provide logistical assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy thanked Japan for its concern and invitation to the G7 summit in Hiroshima. In addition, the head of Ukraine noted that he invited the government of Japan to participate in the Peace formula, which will make it possible to conclude peace with a strange aggressor.
