“Until now, Kernel's shares were traded only on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, but we believe that such a high-quality asset should be available to Ukrainian investors, both institutional and retail. That is why Dragon Capital initiated a double listing of these shares in Ukraine," said Denys Matsuev, managing director of Dragon Capital.
Today Kernel is the world's largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil. The company is also a leading manufacturer and supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea region to world markets. The vertically integrated structure of the company is based on the export of grain crops, the provision of services for the storage and transshipment of grain at elevators, and high-tech crop production. Kernel's share is 8% of the world's sunflower oil production.
Now investors in Ukraine can diversify their investment portfolios with shares of a powerful domestic agricultural company that has been paying dividends annually (over the past 7 years).
