Business Korea reports that one of the government corporations in water resources development, K Water, will work on renovating the Ukrainian town Uman. Korea Water Resources will develop a plan to develop the business environment in the city. Uman has a significant history for Ukraine. A rich number of monuments and historical buildings have been preserved there. Therefore, although the technological centre creates the city, it will be focused on the tourism industry.
In the 1st stage, K Water will conduct a study on the existing conditions in the city. In the 2nd stage, a plan of necessary actions will be formed to turn Uman into a smart city and describe the main proposals for integrating communication and information technologies. The master plan will include a financial calculation and a training program for the city administration regarding the technological changes in the city. The first meeting regarding implementing the project will be held in September 2023. The finished general project will be provided to Ukraine in the spring of 2024.
