Kyiv Received Equipment for Heating Networks 

On December 15, Kyiv state enterprise Kyivheatenergy received 4 JCB excavators and more than 130 generators from USAID. Excavators have already been sent to carry out emergency work to eliminate accidents at heating networks. 38 Kyivheatenergy teams repair 30-40 damages caused by the Russian war every day. Generators have also already been distributed to critical facilities: boiler houses, combined heat and power plants, heat supply stations and urban communications facilities. Thus, it will be possible to eliminate interruptions in the heat supply to the apartments of Kyiv residents during the absence of electricity.

According to the Kyiv city department, thanks to USAID, 11 km of heat pipes damaged by Russian shelling were replaced in the city. Thanks to the efforts of the United States, more than 20.000 Kyivans live in warm apartments.
