"Another 1,500 combat drones are on the way from Latvia to Ukraine."
Drone Coalition and Broader Support
In the first half of 2025, two Latvian companies are expected to deliver a total of 12,000 drones to Ukraine under the framework of the Drone Coalition. This coalition, formed to boost Ukraine's unmanned capabilities, represents a significant collaborative effort among allied nations.
According to available data, in 2024, the support provided by coalition member countries to Ukraine totaled €1.8 billion. An international fund within the coalition has attracted over €80 million in financing specifically for drone and related technology support.
