On August 23, on the Day of the Flag of Ukraine, the president of Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda, arrived in Kyiv. After negotiations with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president announced that Ukraine will receive from Lithuania Norwegian NASAMS air defence systems in the coming months.
"Today in Kyiv, I told my dear friend president Zelenskyy that Lithuania will keep supporting Ukraine until victory. Lithuania will deliver NASAMS launchers to Ukraine next month," Gitanas Nauseda.
This is good news because during the 547 days of the war, Russia used more than 100.000 missiles and even more drones against Ukraine.
