Mariupol: Rebirth is a project to restore a long-suffering city in the Donetsk region. The project's main goal is to draw up a plan and search for investors. The project is divided into 5 stages. The 1st step is the architects' work on the new city's view. The visual plan will be developed in several forms. The following 2 phases are devoted to damage assessment and formulating an early recovery strategy for Mariupol. The last 2 steps are to involve investors, residents of Mariupol, and volunteers in the construction and improvement of the city.
"We believe in the inevitability of our country's victory and that the flag of Ukraine will fly over Mariupol again. We are honoured to be part of this project and contribute to the city's regeneration. And I'm sure it's time to start building this plan, forming a circle of partners and supporters. It is the right time to design the future," said the director of public relations and communications of the Ukrainian investment group SCM Nataliia Emchenko.
It is known that international financial organizations, the World Bank and the EBRD, are joining the initiative. Also, the Ukrainian authorities and representatives of the country's large businesses will participate in the restoration of Mariupol. It is noted that this will be the largest reconstruction of the city in Europe since World War II.
