Abramovich will once again perform "In the Presence of an Artist", this time it will take place at the Sean Kelly Gallery in New York, three people will be able to take part.
The opportunity to participate in the performance was put up for a charity auction, which will take place on March 25. All funds will be donated to the Direct Relief Fund, which helps the Ministry of health of Ukraine purchase the necessary medicines and equipment during the war.
The performance In the Presence of an Artist first took place in 2010 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York.
The idea of the performance was that anyone could sit opposite Abramovich and make eye contact with the artist. Everyone could look into the eyes of the artist as much as he wanted.
The performance lasted for three months, eight hours a day - a total of 736 hours and 30 minutes, during which time it was attended by about 1500 people. The participants were photographed by Marco Anelli, he will take pictures this time as well.
