Michael Pence Arrived in Kyiv

On June 29, the 28th vice president of the United States arrived in the capital of Ukraine

Recently, the 28th vice president of the USA and the opponent of Trump in the presidential election of 2017, Mike Pence, arrived in Kyiv from Washington.

"I'm here because it's important that the American people understand the progress we've made and that supporting the Ukrainian military is in our national interest," Michael Pence.

For security reasons, the press kept silent about the arrival of a senior congressman. After arriving at the Kyiv railway station, Pence and his team went to Independence square and laid flowers at the memorial to those who gave their lives for Ukraine.

A couple of hours later, were held negotiations with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The main topic, of course, was the war, the situation at the front, Ukraine's needs, and plans for the near future.

"We discussed our defence, the interaction between our peoples, security cooperation and the importance of partners' decisiveness and certainty regarding the future membership of Ukraine in NATO," Zelenskyy.

The president thanked Pence, Biden and the American people for their unwavering support.
