The State Department has now clarified the allocation of these funds.
"These funds will be directed both to the creation of Ukraine's defense enterprise program and to the further strengthening of its ability to defend itself against the enemy and carry out counterattacks," stated Deputy Spokesman of the US State Department, Vedant Patel.
Patel expressed confidence in the practical impact of American military aid on the front lines.
"We know that now is a difficult time for Ukraine, but we are sure that military aid will bring real changes on the battlefield," he emphasized.
