Ukraine ministry, Ukrsudprom and the Maritime Cluster of Ukraine signed a memorandum on cooperation focused on shipbuilding, maritime and river transport, ports, and related high tech sectors.
The document outlines joint work on research, knowledge exchange, and innovation in shipbuilding, energy, and IT, as well as attracting international investment.
Deputy minister Andriy Kashuba said shipbuilding is strategic for the economy and, together with a developed port sector, is a key factor for national security and economic independence.
Parties also agreed that joint projects should follow global standards of sustainable development, climate neutrality, digital transformation, and the blue economy, while strengthening maritime security.
