The founders of the website minfin.com.ua and the Investment company Dragon Capital are preparing to launch the Multi Invest mobile application, which will allow Ukrainians to invest in shares of international companies, funds, cryptocurrency and Ukrainian government bonds.
The release of Multi Invest is slated for the first quarter of 2022. Multi Invest will provide access to the purchase of securities, creating competition for traditional Ukrainian instruments: currency, investing-in-ukraine/business-opportunities/real-estate/" rel="dofollow">real estate and bank deposits. The application brings together all the key types of investments that can be managed on the phone: government bonds and cryptocurrencies.
If earlier the rates on deposits were higher, now they average 8.6% and barely cover inflation at 11%. This forces people to look for new combinations of investments and expand their range of investment instruments.
According to a Gallup study, 56% of Americans hold funds in stocks of various companies. There are no official statistics for Ukraine. But according to Weisman, Ukrainians investing in the stock market are less than 1%.
Why is this interesting?
In August, Monobank announced a similar solution. The company's co-founder, Oleg Gorokhovsky, announced plans to integrate with the American securities trading platform. In Ukraine, for several years now, you can buy shares of foreign companies directly through foreign brokers, but there are no convenient and massive instruments yet. The release of such applications may change the situation.
