On June 25, Ukrainian defence minister Oleksii Reznikov and his American colleague Lloyd Austin held telephone conversations. First of all, the parties discussed and agreed that the myth about the strength of the Russian army was finally broken, the military-political leadership of the aggressor country is weak. Reznikov and Austin discussed the military manoeuvres of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and plans for a counter offensive.
''Things are moving in the right direction. Ukraine will win,'' Oleksii Reznikov.
''Secretary Austin reiterated unwavering US support for Ukraine and discussed security assistance priorities to meet Ukraine's needs on the battlefield,'' Pentagon press secretary Pat Ryder.
