"To Catch Kaidash" is a modern adaptation and screen version of the 1879 comedy novel Kaidash's family by Ukrainian author Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky. The original story reflects the problems of fathers and children, the heredity of traditions and the land issue. In 2020, a film version of 12 episodes was created, which could be watched on one of the state TV channels. And now on Netflix.
Another 12-episode film adaptation is There Will Be people. This is the story of a modern author Anatoly Dymarov, who tells about the life of Ukrainians in the Poltava region in the 1920s — the first Ukrainian years after the Soviet occupation. A moving story that deserves to be watched. From March 29, welcome to Netflix.
We remind you that Amazon Prime has started dubbing pictures in Ukrainian.
