The original story reflects the problems of fathers and children, the heredity of traditions and the land issue. In 2020, a film version of 12 episodes was created, which could be watched on one of the state TV channels. And now on Netflix.

This is the story of a modern author Anatoly Dymarov, who tells about the life of Ukrainians in the Poltava region in the 1920s — the first Ukrainian years after the Soviet occupation.
