Completion of Crew Training
A total of 35 Ukrainian personnel have successfully completed their training aboard the Dutch mine-hunter Zr.Ms. Makkum. Ninth Meeting of the Ukrainian Demining Coalition
At the end of November, the ninth meeting of the Ukrainian Demining Coalition was held in Lithuania, bringing together participants from 14 countries. The meeting focused on outlining demining plans for the decade spanning 2025-2034, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in addressing the ongoing threat of naval mines.
Additional Support from the Lithuanian-Led Coalition
In addition to the transfer of mine-clearing ships, the Lithuanian-led demining coalition has provided Ukraine with substantial equipment to support demining operations. Ukraine received 230 pickup trucks and 240 mine detectors, further enhancing the country's capacity to conduct effective and efficient mine-clearing missions.
