The Hague has green-lit €175 million in fresh military support for Kyiv, Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans confirmed on day one of the NATO summit (24 June).
| Allocation | Purpose |
|---|---|
| €80 M | Procurement of next-gen attack/ISR drones |
| c. €95 M | Hundreds of radar units to spot & track incoming UAVs/missiles |
“Ukrainian cities are under constant drone and missile fire. These systems are vital to blunt those attacks,” Brekelmans said.
Additional pledges
-
€7 M to Ukraine’s UCAP ammunition package.
-
€20 M to the Energy Support Fund for emergency grid repairs.
The new tranche follows a €209.5 M civilian-reconstruction package announced earlier, bringing Dutch aid commitments ever closer to the €1 billion mark in 2025.
