On January 24, a representative of the presidential office Rostyslav Shurma gave a short press conference and announced the office's work on 2 reforms aimed at suppressing corruption strategies in Ukraine.
"We are planning two fundamental changes. The first is electronic excise. The second is the transfer of payments for excise goods exclusively to a cashless format," Rostyslav Shurma.
"We are considering raising taxes on harmful consumption. These are tobacco, alcohol and fossil fuels. As part of the reform, we will bring tax rates to average European levels," Shurma added.
Judicial reform is also expected.
