The purpose of the project is to stimulate the development of production in Ukraine not only of electric vehicles, but also of chargers and components for them. As a result, this turns into an excellent opportunity to create new jobs and increase the share of auto production and related industries in the country's GDP.
We are talking about the bills On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and On Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding the development of the electric transport industry in the country.
The purpose of bill №3476 is to stimulate the development of production in Ukraine of electric vehicles, chargers, and different components. This will create new jobs and increase the share of auto production and related industries in the country's GDP.
As reported in the document, until January 1, 2031, operations involving the import of goods into Ukraine by invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/starting-business-in-ukraine/build-an-enterprise/" rel="dofollow">enterprises that have, create, or modernize production facilities for the industrial production of electric vehicles are exempted from value-added tax.
Also, enterprises that import goods for their own industrial production of vehicles are exempt from import duty taxation.
