New Factory of Purees, Jams, Juices and Baby Food Production

On July 9, the "Gadz" farm, which cultivates 670 hectares of orchards in the Ternopil region, opened its factory

The orchard of farm Gadz with an area of 670 hectares, planted in 2011, is located in a special microclimatic zone, which allows you to receive high-quality crops and excellent flavor characteristics.

In a short time, the farming enterprise Gadz became one of the largest companies in Ukraine, which specializes in growing fruits (apples, pears, plums).

The farm has been restructured into several parts: a horticultural complex, branches for growing seedlings, a complex for processing and a sorting and logistics center. Specially equipped storage facilities are designed to store 15 thousand tons of fruit. In addition to apples, pears and plums are grown here, dried fruits and apple chips are made. Fruit from Gadz is exported to more than 20 countries. About 40% of production is sold abroad. Seedlings are also exported.

"Almost $21 mln was invested in the plant for the production of purees, jams, juices and baby food by farm Gadz. The new line has officially started its work. The plant is equipped with Italian equipment with a capacity of 5 tons/hour. The new production allowed employing about fifty people," said Volodymyr Trush, chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration.

The plant will include a shop for receiving raw materials, fruit processing, storage of finished products. The production will have its own laboratory. The plant will employ at least 50 people.
