“The construction of a logistics center will allow local producers to sell fruit and berry products with lower logistics costs, meet the needs of the regional market with local products and form a reserve for exporting products,” the department said in a statement. This will be an excellent opportunity to open and successfully promote a business in the agricultural sector in Ukraine. - the Department of agroindustrial development of the Sumy regional state administration noted.
The logistics center will function for a whole year. In the summer, pre-sale preparation of cherries, strawberries, peaches, and apricots will be carried out. Apples, grapes, and plums will be put into storage in the fall so that after the price cut it will be more profitable to sell the fruit.
According to the head of the Melitopol Cherry group of companies Anton Lukoyanov: "This will allow cherries to be stored for up to 40 days, and even get to any place in the world by sea."
Such a logistics center is an excellent opportunity to open and successfully promote a business in the agricultural sector in Ukraine.
