New Industrial Production in Lviv: USP Panels to Launch Plant in August
Ukraine’s Formation Syhnivka Industrial Park in Lviv is preparing for a major addition to its resident list — USP Panels will launch a modern sandwich panel production plant this August.
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy, Dmytro Kysylevsky, confirmed that the plant’s equipment is already being delivered and installed. Construction of intra-site networks for the first stage is 85% complete, with full readiness, including landscaping, expected by the end of August. External engineering networks are scheduled for completion in November 2025.
Expanding Industrial Capacity in Western Ukraine
USP Panels has been operating since 2006, with its first plant in Ternopil, producing up to 200,000 sq. m of sandwich panels per month. The new Lviv facility will boost domestic supply for the construction and logistics sectors, potentially replacing imports and supporting post-war reconstruction.
Alongside USP Panels, other companies are joining the park:
-
Plastic bottle cap manufacturer – preparing to relocate production.
-
Metalworking plant – moving into new premises.
-
Pozhmashina – building a new special equipment production site, currently at the foundation stage.
Investment & Infrastructure Development
The Formatsia.Lviv industrial park received ₴114 million from the Ministry of Economy in December 2024 to develop key infrastructure — electricity, water supply, drainage, and sewage.
Created by Alterra Group in cooperation with the Lviv City Council, the Kyiv School of Economics, and the Ministry of Economy, the park aims to attract over ₴5 billion in private investments. It was officially registered as an industrial park in October 2023.
Key Takeaway for Investors:
Formation Syhnivka Industrial Park is emerging as a high-potential industrial hub in western Ukraine. With modern infrastructure, state support, and a growing roster of residents, it offers a strategic location for manufacturing, construction materials production, and export-oriented industries.
