New System for Monitoring Permits for International Road Transport

The Ukrainian monitoring system "Shlyakh" was launched. Users can now track information about issued permits for international road freight transport

From the very start, the platform impressed with the results: in just the first week of the service's operation, more than 3,000 carriers used it.

According to the Minister of the infrastructure of Ukraine Olexander Kubrakov, the ministry has already canceled the payment for booking permits for international cargo transportation. Since the cancellation of charging for booking, carriers have made more than 11 thousand orders of permits and at the same time saved more than $19,000 million.

“Last week we took the first step towards fixing the permissions issue. We have introduced the Shlyakh system, which is essentially a platform that allows carriers to see which business entities have received how many permits. What do they do with them, who uses them, and who bought them in order to sell them,” Kubrakov said.
