Nova Poshta unveils light franchise

New partner model opens logistics roles without upfront capital

Nova Poshta detailed its new partner model called the “light franchise,” which allows entry into the business without upfront capital. The company says the model lowers the barrier for partners and expands the network quickly.

Previously, opening a classic branch required significant investment. Now Nova Poshta offers multiple roles in logistics, including transportation with a personal vehicle, last‑mile delivery, PUDO points inside an existing business, service of parcel lockers, and installation of own parcel lockers. The model lets partners join as operators or investors depending on their capacity.

Partners will go through selection that includes financial screening, experience assessment and a check for conflicts with direct competitors. They will also be responsible for parcels during handling.

Another change is access to large cities. Partners can now operate in Kyiv, mostly in smaller formats such as PUDO, delivery and parcel lockers, while large branches stay under company control.

The company targets payback within two years, with tariff-based remuneration that accounts for costs such as fuel and vehicle depreciation.
