The head of the Donetsk regional administration, Ihor Moroz, said that the occupiers in the Donetsk region destroyed or critically damaged at least 315 agricultural enterprises. Here, the Russians burned and mined the fields, beat and stole equipment, destroyed storage facilities with grown products (wheat, medicinal plants, sunflowers, corn, animal feed, barley and other crops), and destroyed enterprises and factories. The minimum estimate of Russian damage is almost 147 million.
The farmers of the Donetsk region are continuing their business and are now working on growing and harvesting winter crops: wheat, barley, and rapeseed. As of the end of October, Ukrainian farmers have cultivated and sowed half of the planned 121.500 ha despite the land is mined and the danger of working in these fields is extremely high.
