Odesa Is Burning Under Russian Missiles

Russian military attacked the Odesa region for the second day in a row

The Russian Federation plans to capture all southern regions of Ukraine. This part of the foreign country will help Russia to contact unrecognized Transnistria. Note that Transnistria, as well as the Donetsk People’s Republic (occupied part of the Donetsk region, Ukraine), has a pro-Russian government. The aggressor country is trying to capture the Odessa region, as it is the last link for communication with Transnistria.

Perhaps the Russian occupiers want to repeat in Odesa the scenario of the capture of Mariupol, Kherson, Berdyansk, and other port cities. That’s why the Russian troops are striking from the sea. So, on 3 and 4 June, the area was massively attacked.

On 3 June, Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down all the rockets from the occupation. The Russians fired four rockets in the Odesa region. None of them caused damage or injury to people.

However, the failure angers the occupiers, so on June 4, a strategic aircraft fired a new missile at Odesa. The missile struck an agricultural factory. As a result of the destruction of the buildings, a fire began. 11 Ukrainian firefighters eliminated the fire in 40 minutes. Two agrarian workers were injured in the air attack.

Odesa always remains in danger as long as there are Russian ships and submarines in the Black Sea. Recall that the Russian military mined the sea and all maritime routes.
