The Sultanate of Oman has officially opened its borders to Ukrainian poultry meat, offal and processed products, following agreement on veterinary and sanitary protocols with Kyiv’s State Service for Food-Safety (SSUFSCP).
-
Ninth market in 2025: Oman joins a fast-growing list of destinations accepting Ukrainian agri-goods, underscoring the sector’s export momentum.
-
Strict compliance met: Approved producers must follow Omani rules for production, processing, transport, packaging and labelling—raising the bar for quality and traceability.
-
Investor signal: New outlet helps diversify revenue streams for Ukrainian poultry giants and mid-caps, encouraging CAPEX in slaughter, cold-chain and halal-certified lines.
“Opening the Omani market is another milestone in widening Ukraine’s export map,” said SSUFSCP head Serhii Tkachuk.
Analysts expect shipments to begin in Q3 2025, with Gulf demand supporting longer-term investment in value-added poultry products from Ukraine.
