Panama becomes the latest Caribbean nation to back the agreement, further strengthening international support for Ukraine’s peace initiatives.
President Zelenskyi expressed hope for deepening friendly dialogue and cooperation with countries in the Caribbean basin. He also highlighted that the number of countries supporting a strong and just peace in Ukraine continues to grow, with 94 nations now signed onto the communiqué.
The communiqué, signed by Panama, outlines a shared vision among signatory states on addressing key global issues such as the nuclear threat, food security, the exchange of prisoners of war, and the return of Ukrainian children.
