On Saturday, the president of the Czech Republic arrived at the Dnipro region's regional centre, surrounded by hot spots from 3 sides. Recall that on April 28, Petr Pavel came in the capital of Ukraine and met with Ukrainian politicians. There he announced the opening of a Czech consulate in the Dnipro.
On April 29, a foreign politician arrived at the Dnipro and discussed a cooperation plan and the purpose of opening a state body in another country. Chairman of the Dnipro regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, met with an important guest. After the meeting, the Ukrainian representative said that Chezia will help to restore and support the Dnipro. It is known that the parties signed a memorandum on enhanced assistance to the wounded. According to the document, a modern medical bus will be made for the Dnipro region to help 12 wounded at once.
"About 100 schools and more than 50 kindergartens have been damaged in the region. Education, as well as humanitarian and energy spheres, is a priority for Czech partners. And we are grateful for their understanding and support," said Lysak.
In addition, Petr Pavel visited the site of the city's largest tragedy during the full-scale Russian invasion. The Czech president watched live the consequences of the Russian missile strike on a multi-story building. Recall on January 14, 2023, the Kremlin killed 46 people, including children; wounded more than 80 Ukrainians of different ages.
