According to PKN Orlen, the investment project will stabilize the sources of electricity imports and help strengthen Poland's energy security. Participation in the project will have a positive result on the economic situation of Ukraine.
"Electricity that could be transferred to Poland will come from the Khmelnytskyy NPP to Ukraine. Its imports based on modernized infrastructure will help meet the needs of Polish industry and reduce Poland's dependence on hydrocarbon-based energy sources," PKN Orlen.
Orlen Synthos Green Energy will implement technical tools for project implementation. For example, MMR and SMR (micro and small nuclear reactors) technologies will be prepared and commercialized in Poland.
We remind you that Ukraine started to export electricity to Moldova.
