The Ministry of the economy of Ukraine signed an agreement on the mutual development of tools for the development of trade between states.
"The Ministry of economic development and technology of Poland and the Ministry of the economy of Ukraine signed a memorandum on the development of trade facilitation instruments. The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen economic cooperation between Poland and Ukraine due to trade facilitation focusing on providing insurance coverage for the supply of goods and services," the Ministry reports.
Insurance will be carried out through Poland's export credit agency KUKE. The insurance covers transport and its contents, which will be imported by Ukraine from Poland. It is expected that the memorandum will increase trade with Poland since it is from this country that strategic goods come to Ukraine.
"In 2021, Poland ranked first among European countries (the turnover of goods and services in the amount of $10.7 billion). And in January-March, it grew by another 11%," the Ministry continues.
We remind you that Forbes analyzed the international support of states in the war conditions in Ukraine, and Poland took 1st place, overtaking the US and UK.
