Polish companies prepare for Ukraine reconstruction projects

Budimex Polimex Mostostal and AMW SINEVIA plan joint work on future infrastructure and logistics recovery

Three Polish companies are forming a cooperation framework for Ukraine’s future reconstruction. Budimex, Polimex Mostostal and AMW SINEVIA signed an agreement aimed at preparing their participation in infrastructure projects after the war.

The cooperation is focused on knowledge exchange, project preparation and coordination of experience for work in a country where transport, logistics, energy and public infrastructure will require long-term restoration. The initiative is supported by Polish state institutions and is designed to strengthen the role of Polish business in Ukraine’s recovery.

Infrastructure as a long process

Polish officials describe reconstruction not as one large tender, but as a multi-year sequence of projects. It will depend on financing, logistics, reforms and Ukraine’s closer integration with the European Union.

The companies want to be ready for projects connected with the restoration and modernization of transport and communication links between Poland and Ukraine. This includes infrastructure, logistics, ports, energy and other sectors where experienced contractors and cross-border coordination will matter.

Why the partnership matters

Budimex, Polimex Mostostal and AMW SINEVIA bring different competences, which can make the partnership more useful for large and technically complex projects. For Ukraine, this is another signal that neighboring countries are preparing not only political support, but also practical business capacity.

Reconstruction needs are measured in hundreds of billions of dollars over decades. Such a scale will require financing, but also reliable contractors, organized supply chains and teams able to work across borders. Polish participation can become one of the practical channels through which European capital, logistics and engineering experience reach Ukrainian projects.
