A delegation of the Polish company 3N Solutions sp. z o.o. visited Volyn Oblast to explore opening an enterprise that would service Ukraine’s critical infrastructure — primarily energy facilities. Regional authorities confirmed their readiness to support the project and help the company integrate into the Ukrainian market.
What the company offers
3N Solutions works in Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany and specializes in:
-
industrial cleaning of equipment;
-
maintenance and optimization of energy facilities;
-
recovery and restoration after fires or damage;
-
work on live equipment under voltage up to 30 kV.
For Ukraine’s power sector, which regularly suffers from shelling, the key value is exactly this: not replacing equipment, but restoring it quickly and safely.
Why Volyn
Co-owner Piotr Hondrokostas said Lutsk and Volyn are convenient in terms of logistics and infrastructure, so the company wants to start here and later scale to other regions of Ukraine. Local energy companies — in particular “Volynoblenergo” — are interested because there are practically no external contractors in Ukraine that provide such services on an outsourced basis; most work is done by power utilities themselves.
What was agreed
The parties discussed:
-
adaptation to Ukrainian technical standards and certification;
-
training and hiring Ukrainian specialists;
-
holding a demo master class at a regional energy facility to show the technologies in operation.
The Volyn Regional Military Administration (OVA) promised to help with ministries, employment centers and educational institutions to actually launch the enterprise.
Why it matters for investors and the sector
Deputy Head of the OVA Roman Romanyuk stressed that during the war, when energy assets are under constant risk, technologies that extend the life of equipment and reduce downtime become strategically important. Entry of a specialized Polish operator to the region:
-
increases resilience of the local energy system;
-
introduces EU-level maintenance standards;
-
creates a base for further localization and employment in industrial services.
