A potential investor for Boryslav
Polish furniture company Intermeble is considering opening production at the industrial park in Boryslav, Lviv region. The opportunity was discussed during a working meeting between city officials, the management company of InPark Boryslav and Polish investors.
The municipality presented the industrial park’s capabilities and the cooperation conditions it can offer. For Boryslav, attracting a foreign furniture producer would mean not only a new tenant, but also jobs, local supplier demand and a stronger manufacturing profile for the community.
Why Intermeble fits the site
Intermeble is a family company with a history dating back to 1921. It specializes in mass production of furniture made from laminated chipboard, using different textures, colors and designs. The company is looking for new sites to expand production capacity, and Boryslav is one of the proposed options.
The industrial park covers twenty hectares. Construction of the first plant for a Ukrainian furniture company is already underway, with about twenty-four thousand square meters of production space planned. Preparations are also being made for a second stage with twelve thousand square meters of industrial premises.
Investment logic
For investors, the case shows how western Ukraine continues to compete for manufacturing projects despite wartime risks. Furniture production depends on labor, logistics, reliable premises and access to components. If Intermeble chooses Boryslav, the project could become another example of cross-border industrial cooperation between Ukraine and Poland.
