Ukraine plans to allocate more than 100 million UAH to strengthen the protection of seaports from drone attacks. The funding is aimed at enhancing anti drone measures for critical port infrastructure.
The initiative focuses on security upgrades that reduce risks to logistics chains, port operations and export capacity. Ports are key nodes for the economy, and stronger protection is intended to keep routes stable even under threat.
Such investments typically include monitoring systems, early warning tools and integration with existing security units. The goal is to improve resilience of transport corridors and safeguard maritime trade.
The allocation underscores the priority of infrastructure defense within broader recovery and security planning.
