The office of the minister of national defence of Portugal announced on Twitter that a new aid package is being prepared, which includes military and non-military elements.
"Portugal continues to support Ukraine: we are going to donate another 14 M113 armoured personnel carriers and a set of 105-mm howitzers. This new package of military material joins the 180 tons of ammunition and 5 armoured medical support vehicles made available for weeks," the office of the minister of national defence.
In May of this year, Augusto Santos Silva, a representative of the Portuguese parliament, was in Kyiv for negotiations with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
