Baykar Makina has been using Ukrainian-made motors in its drones for about 5 years. In 2021, Ukraine and Baykar raised the issue of producing drones in our country for the first time. In 2022, the enterprise concept was created, and the land was purchased to construct a plant in the Kyiv region, in 2023, Baykar Makina was registered in Ukraine.
On July 10, 2023, it became known that the construction of the plant had started. All preparatory work has been completed, licenses have been obtained, the territory of the future plant has been electrified, and construction has begun. Even taking into account the pace of the warring countries, the construction of the plant is planned for 2 years.
