The Ukrainian metallurgical holding Metinvest and the Akhmetov Foundation opened a program for the psychological rehabilitation of children Saving lives, and organised a Strong generation camp. The company allocated almost $247.000 for the implementation of this initiative.
The program will involve children of war veterans and Metinvest employees, internally displaced persons and children orphaned by the war. Strong generation camp will be located in the Carpathians — an environmentally friendly and, most importantly, safe place where children are not subject to re-traumatisation.
Starting from June, new groups of children will come to the camp for 2 weeks, where they will receive psychological consultations from specialists from the Association of psychologists of Ukraine, participate in art therapy sessions, hibuki therapy and other inspiring health programs.
