Hristo Grozev, an investigative journalist with the Bellingcat project, clarified the intentions and level of determination of the Altai president during his conversation with Russian intelligence services and officials.
Officials said Putin was ready to launch a nuclear strike on our country in the event of a failed operation to seize Kyiv.
"But he can't use nuclear weapons with a conditional red button. This red button exists, but there are 5 people who must follow all these instructions in the chain before a nuclear-powered missile takes off. Our sources are sure that there will be at least a few of these 5 who do not comply with this order. Putin understands that such a risk exists, so it is unlikely to give this order," Hristo Grozev.
