Quantum-Systems to Provide 100 Trinity Drones to Ukraine

Quantum-Systems, a German tech firm, has initiated the delivery of 100 Trinity drones to Ukraine

These drones are diversified in their models and are primarily intended for reconnaissance purposes, assisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces in surveying landscapes and identifying enemy positions. This significant contribution to Ukraine's defense capabilities was first announced in September 2023.

In addition to the Trinity drones, Quantum-Systems is also providing Ukraine with hundreds of Vector unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a commitment made on behalf of the German government.

Ukrainian personnel have successfully completed a training program, designed to prepare instructors for the effective use of Trinity drones on Ukrainian soil.

The Trinity drones boast impressive features: a maximum flight duration of 90 minutes, a range between 5 and 7.5 kilometers, a wingspan of 2.394 meters, and a maximum takeoff weight of 5.75 kilograms. These drones are particularly useful for assessing damage to infrastructure, buildings, roads, and bridges, resulting from military activities.

Equipped with a modular system, the Trinity drones can be swiftly deployed for immediate use, conducting automated tactical mapping and rendering detailed visualizations of the terrain. A single Trinity drone is capable of covering an area of 700 hectares or scanning a linear corridor up to 90 kilometers in length during a single flight mission.
