On July 11, the Pentagon press service announced the preparation of the next meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group, which was discussed in a telephone conversation between Lloyd Austin and Olexii Reznikov, minister of defense of Ukraine.
During the telephone communication, Reznikov received up-to-date information regarding the $400 million aid package from the United States and also discussed the results of 3 previous UDCG meetings and plans for 4. This time, due to the busy schedules of many summit participants, Rammstein-4 will be held online.
We remind you that the first meeting of the UDCG took place at the US Rammstein base in Germany, the second — online, and the third — in Brussels. With each new meeting, the number of participants increased. After Rammstein-3, Ukraine received 155 mm howitzers, Harpoon systems, HIMARS shells and other weapons for the country's defense.
