The American company Raytheon Technologies, which is a manufacturer of Patriot air defence systems, is increasing industrial capacity to produce up to 12 units per year. Raytheon Technologies CEO Greg Geis announced this.
"We were very surprised by its effectiveness," Greg Geis commented on the Patriot's success in the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, there are 3 Patriots in Ukraine, and thanks to increased production, we will receive 5 more such systems by the end of 2024. Notably, in every package of US military aid to Ukraine, there are shells for Patriot, which strengthens Ukraine's position in this war.
We remind you that at the summit of the Political community of Europe in Chisinau, Zelenskyy proposed the creation of "Patriot coalitions", and Mark Rutte responded to the idea.
