Remote control in a smartphone: all-Ukrainian online school launches mobile application

The all-Ukrainian online school (VSHO) platform is now available as a mobile application. Pupils of 5-11 grades, the project content is designed for them, will be able to study in a convenient format.

After all, according to a study by the state service for education quality, 89.3% of students use smartphones for distance learning.

"All-Ukrainian online school is a dynamically developing world-class educational product. Just recently, we presented a teacher's office on the platform. And today we are launching a mobile application. The popularity of the platform and the feedback of students and teachers about the high quality of lessons at the all-Ukrainian online school inspire to continue the digitalization of Ukrainian education," said Deputy Minister of digital transformation for European integration Valeria Ionan.

The WSS was launched in December 2020 at the initiative of the Ministry of education and science, the Ministry of digital transformation and the Ukrainian Institute for educational development in response to quarantine challenges, as well as to ensure equal access to quality Ukrainian-language learning content for students and teachers. The application was created by the public union "Osvitoria", and launched with the support of the international "Renaissance foundation".

The HSE application is already available for the Android operating system, which is owned by more than 80% of users of the platform. The application can be downloaded from the play market from google and the app gallery. The application will soon be released for iOS users. Mobile operators lifecell, Vodafone and Kyivstar provide its users with free access to the mobile Internet: when using the platform via the web version or application, Internet traffic is not charged.
