Representatives of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria Visited Irpin

Chairman of the state committee of the de-occupation and the government of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria Akhmed Zakaev arrived in Ukraine

On May 21, the official portal of the government of the Republic of Ichkeria announced the visit of its representatives to Ukraine. The political visit is conditioned by the program of interaction between the official bodies of the government and the legislative bodies of 2 countries.

The visit has a rich program. Akhmed Zakaev is to hold a meeting with the leadership of the Crimean Tatar Majlis and the deputy of the parliament of Ukraine, one of the leaders of the Crimean Tatar national movement ex-chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Jemilev. During the visit, meetings with the groups will also be held.

Business meetings were crushed by a pressing problem for Ukraine — Russian aggression. A delegation from the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria visited Irpin, Kyiv region.

"What happened in Irpin, Bucha, and other settlements occupied by Russian troops, this one in one repeat the tragedy that the Chechen people experienced 28 years ago," said the head of the government Ichkery in exile Ahmed Zakaev during his visit to Irpin.

Let us recall that from 1994 to 1996, the Russian Federation fought in a foreign country — Chechnya. The reason Russia entered the war was not to accept the fact that the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria had appeared in the country. The war caused many civilian, military, and law enforcement casualties. There have been allegations of ethnic cleansing of the non-Chechen population in Chechnya.
